Ajadi extends birthday greetings to Famojuro, highlights strategic influence in Oyo politics

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and leading gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has congratulated political strategist Otunba Seye Famojuro on his birthday, describing him as an influential figure within the party’s structure in the state.

In a message issued on Saturday, 14 February 2026, Ajadi acknowledged Famojuro’s role in party affairs and his involvement in Oyo State’s political processes.

Famojuro, who holds the traditional title of Balogun Bobajiroro of Orile Igbon, is widely regarded within PDP circles as a close associate of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Ajadi said Famojuro’s contributions have largely been behind the scenes, particularly in strategic consultations and stakeholder engagement.

Within the Omituntun political movement associated with Governor Makinde, Famojuro is often described by party members as part of the movement’s advisory structure. His influence, according to political observers in the state, has been rooted in internal negotiations and coordination rather than public visibility.

Ajadi noted that Famojuro’s approach reflects what supporters refer to as the “GSM school of politics”, a phrase linked to Makinde’s political philosophy, which emphasises party cohesion and structured planning.

He added that the celebrant’s involvement has extended beyond partisan activity to community-level initiatives and governance-related engagements in Oyo State.

Ajadi wished Famojuro continued good health and sustained participation in political and community affairs.
