The wedding ceremony of Adebimpe Abigail Ojo and Israel Adeola Alabi drew dignitaries and well-wishers to La\u2019occassionz Event Place, Abule-Egba, Lagos State, on August 29 and 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two-day celebration began with a colourful traditional wedding and climaxed with a white wedding, where Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, chieftain of the New Nigeria People\u2019s Party (NNPP) and CEO of Bullion Records, served as chairman of the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering his marital advice to the couple, Ajadi emphasised that love must be the foundation of every marriage, describing it as the first of seven principles needed for a flourishing home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLove is an affection that comes after the two couples truly understand each other,\u201d he said.<\/a> \u201cThe husband must love his wife because love teaches responsibility, makes prayer a part of the home, and helps couples forgive and care for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajadi explained that love also inspires respect and tolerance within the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA home without prayer is not a godly home,\u201d he added. \u201cLove leads to prayer, forgiveness, care, and accommodation. It makes each partner respect the other, and when there is respect at home, outsiders will also respect the marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NNPP leader, known for his philanthropic and political engagements, also gave practical advice, urging the bride to look after her husband\u2019s well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe wife should feed her husband very well because food is essential. Beyond that, both should be cheerful with one another and satisfy each other sexually. Love makes this possible,\u201d Ajadi stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond love, he outlined six other principles for a successful marriage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commitment \u2013 Expressing deep dedication and choosing one\u2019s partner daily, even through life\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissiveness \u2013 Rooted in biblical teaching, but also in mutual respect, trust, and sacrificial love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discipline \u2013 Practising self-control, active listening, and consistent effort to nurture the relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satisfaction \u2013 Deriving joy, pleasure, and fulfilment from one\u2019s spouse and the union as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding \u2013 Comprehending each other\u2019s perspectives, needs, and emotions with empathy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
