The Southwest Chieftain of the New Nigeria People\u2019s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi<\/a> Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has extended warm felicitations to the party\u2019s founder and former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabi\u2019u Musa Kwankwaso, on the occasion of his 68th birthday, celebrated on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his congratulatory message, Ambassador Ajadi described Senator Kwankwaso<\/a> as \u201ca visionary leader, patriotic statesman, and tireless advocate of a new Nigeria built on justice, equity, and progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSenator Kwankwaso\u2019s political philosophy, anchored on people-centered governance and youth empowerment, has continued to inspire many of us in the New Nigeria People\u2019s Party and beyond,\u201d Ajadi said. \u201cHis exemplary service to Nigeria, from his days as a deputy speaker to his tenure as a two-term governor of Kano State, and later as Minister of Defence, remains a model of purposeful leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassador Ajadi, who has remained one of the most vocal proponents of the NNPP\u2019s vision in southern Nigeria, emphasized that Kwankwaso\u2019s leadership style represents a bridge between the political class and the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDr. Kwankwaso has always demonstrated what it means to lead with integrity and compassion,\u201d Ajadi added. \u201cHis enduring relationship with the common man, his attention to education, and his passion for youth inclusion in governance are lessons every Nigerian leader should emulate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senator Rabi\u2019u Musa Kwankwaso, born on October 21, 1957, in Kwankwaso town, Kano State, has had a distinguished political career spanning over three decades. He served as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives during the Third Republic, Governor of Kano State (1999\u20132003 and 2011\u20132015), and Minister of Defence (2003\u20132007) under President Olusegun Obasanjo. He later emerged as the presidential candidate of the NNPP in the 2023 general election, where his campaign emphasized national unity, education reform, and infrastructural development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassador Ajadi, who himself has consistently championed youth participation and good governance through his philanthropic and political engagements, reaffirmed his loyalty to the ideals of the NNPP under Kwankwaso\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs we celebrate our leader\u2019s 68th birthday, I join millions of Nigerians to pray for his good health, long life, and continued wisdom to guide our great party and the nation,\u201d Ajadi said. \u201cHis unwavering commitment to a Nigeria where everyone has equal opportunity remains the driving force for many of us who believe that a new Nigeria is possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajadi, an entrepreneur and grassroots mobilizer from Ogun State, has been instrumental in expanding the NNPP\u2019s influence across the Southwest region. His political trajectory and consistent advocacy for credible leadership align with Kwankwaso\u2019s long-standing reputation as a reformist and an advocate of inclusive governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reuterated his message with a reaffirmation of solidarity and hope:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
