Southwest political stalwart, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi is in mourning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This has to do with the passage into glory of the Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Olubadan was one of the traditional custodians, whose palace Ambassador Ajadi graced, in deference to tradition and in his capacity as the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the news of His Royal Majesty’s passage broke, Ajadi was greatly sobered.
He described the late monarch, who is the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, as a rallying point of culture, a role model and father figure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Eagle reports that the distinguished monarch breathed his last at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, with Ambassador Ajadi noting it as the end of an era that witnessed the late Oba leaving an indelible mark on the cultural and traditional landscape of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the many accolades of Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo is the “Golden Son of Southwest -Yoruba Land” by the Southwest Canteen Workers Union, and he declared that the Southwest had indeed lost a significant personality, while reflecting on the life and times of the late monarch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Comrade Ajadi, the late Olubadan was a cosmopolitan leader with unparalleled experience, whose contributions will endure for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He expressed heartfelt condolence to Oba Balogun\u2019s family, the Olubadan-in-Council, the State Traditional Council, and the entire populace of Ibadanland and Oyo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also prayed for the repose of the departed monarch\u2019s soul, and for comfort of soul upon his successors and loved ones he left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that we received this saddening news of the demise of a remarkable leader and custodian of tradition.
“May the legacy of Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun endure, serving as a guiding light for future generations.
” Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the entire community during this period of grief,\u201d Ambassador Ajadi stated\u00a0in\u00a0his\u00a0prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
