A South West chieftain of New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has called on political office holders in the country to promote interest of the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oguntoyinbo while felicitating with Muslims on the occasion of this year Eid- ul- fitr which falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025, noted that Eid-ul-fitr is a time of joy, reflection, and togetherness, marking the end of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NNPP chieftain made these declarations via a statement made available to Afripost on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He congratulated the Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan urging them to continue with the spirit of togetherness and sacrifices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He called on the political leaders both at the States and at the Federal level to use the occasion of this time of joy to have a rethink and be selfless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oguntoyinbo while speaking further said this period in the history of the country called for soberness as according to him, millions of citizens are living in hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the leaders should please have the interest of the masses at heart and must always be good servants to the people who elected them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI rejoice with all Muslims on the successful completion of this year\u2019s Ramadan. I wish to remind us that Eid-ul-Fitr is more than just a festival . It\u2019s a reminder of Allah\u2019s boundless mercy and the power of love that brings families together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet us continue in the spirit of sacrifices as we have done during the Ramadan. Sacrifice is the essence of peaceful living. We need to be modest in our celebration and accommodates others that are less privileged in our celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo our political leaders, the lessons of Ramadan should guide them in ensuring that they display selflessness. They should strive hard to promote programmes and policies that will enhance the living of the masses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe all should use the occasion of Eid- ul- fitr to pray for our leaders for God to guide them aright. Eid Mubarak! May Allah\u2019s infinite blessings fill your life with happiness, prosperity, and love\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
